Released in January 2021, the Jordan 1 High Volt Gold marked a strong start for Jordan Brand. This iteration of the iconic Black Toe theme showcases a fresh design aesthetic through the use of new materials and features. The upper combines white, black, and yellow leather in the classic color blocking style, while a vibrant Volt yellow-tinted panel with the Jordan Wings logo adds a striking touch around the ankle. Unlike traditional Jordan 1 designs, the Volt Gold opts for single stitch reinforcement on its overlays, creating a unique dimensional effect with exposed edges. Further emphasizing Jordan's reconstructed design approach are the nylon tongue with exposed foam edges and the reverse transparent tongue label. Completing the look, the yellowed midsole and black outsole contribute to an aged appearance.
